The Transalpina or DN67C located in the Parâng Mountains group, in the Southern Carpathians of Romania, is the highest road of the Carpathian Mountains, having the highest point in Urdele Pass (at 2,145 m). It connects Novaci, south of Parâng Mountains, to Sebeş in the north.

Located in the Parang Mountains, in the Southern Carpathians, the 150 km long road connects Oltenia to Transylvania (Romanian regions), between Novaci in Gorj county and Sebesh in Alba county. The road crosses the Parang Mountains from North to South and runs in a parallel line with the Olt Valley and the Jiu Valley.
